smoothglenn:lagonegirl:So, if you’re a fan of Southern hip-hop, then you know Chamillionaire has always been about his paper. And although he’s been a little incognito from the rap game for a long while, his bread is also looking pretty long. Last year, Chamillionaire invested in a start-up business, Maker Studios, which is an online video network founded in 2009. The investment paid off pretty heavy when Disney purchased the business for over $500 million dollars! Dammm!source#BlackExcellence as it isit’s mad inspiring!!!The rap industry isn’t designed to make rappers wealthy, especially ones who only had a couple hits. Nigga really played his cards right. Now that’s how you spend rap money. Not on chains, mansions, and boats… but Investing.Lets not forget that after several people died because they were driving drunk/high after Ridin Dirty became huge he went and switched up his whole style, became a more conscious rapper and focused more on his label and signing up and coming artists rather than make music which he saw as toxic to his community and promoted/glorified something that led to the deaths of young impressionable teens.I respect his grind financially but respect him as a person a lot more tbh, not many would go his route.I hope that he is going to invest in the black community to help those who are less fortunate. I’m waiting for more news about this nigga.I wondered what happen to him too, much respect ✊ -- source link
