Monthly Maintenance has been completed for March 2020!We have removed 23 blogs which were inactive or de-activated, leaving us with 211 active entries!I would like to give a special thanks to @wakingwitchblr which is an awesome project that is working very hard to bring the community together again and make it active as it once was. This is such a great initiative, and it’s been really exciting to see new faces speak up in the community, and old faces returning! Now that the directory is all caught up with the new format and entries are up to date, new entries to the ‘dex will be limited to posting once per week since the volume is much smaller, and can all fit nicely in one post. Upcoming Updates: A lot of the overhaul has been completed, and most of the planned changes have already been implemented! I am currently in the process of building a spreadsheet that will allow me to gauge the area of witchblr that need more attention, and focus on finding blogs with more niche audiences so we can give them more visibility. This will probably be a longer project, so I won’t post a timeline to completion on this until I have a better idea of the roadmap ahead. Here are some ways you can help the Witchblrdex! • Reblog our posts when you see them on your feed! Because some of our posts link out to Airtable where the directory is hosted, they often don’t come up in searches. We are heavily reliant on reblogs for people to find us.• Tag us when you see members looking for new blogs or new people to follow! Our list is constantly being updated with interests, locations, pantheons, etc! • Add the button to your bio! By adding the Witchblrdex to your bio, you allow other witches to find us more easily, and you can also submit an introduction about your blog and we will share it with our followers! This is a great way to share your craft!• Sign up for a free Airtable account using our affiliate link! For the directory to have all the functionality I need to maintain it costs about $12/month. I get a free $10 credit for every person who signs up with a free account, which is almost an entire month free just for signing up! It only takes one minute, and it is a massive help! (If everyone who used the directory signed up, I would have enough credits for 8+ years of running the directory!)• Donate through my Ko-fi link! The Witchblrdex is free, and will always be free to list and use. That said, I am a full-time student and full-time worker, and run my blog and the ‘dex in my free time. Monetary support is extremely helpful if you have the means to do so!Any support you can give to this project is really helpful, even if it’s just a message to say you like it ^_^ -- source link
