apuleiaprimilla:Bronze circular mirror with engraved scene illustrating an Etruscan legend. Cacu (Latin Cacus) is seated, playing a lyre. Beside him is the boy Artile, reading from an open writing-tablet (diptych). On either side, Aule and Caile Vipinas (Latin Aulus and Caelius Vibenna) advance, either to eavesdrop on Cacu or to capture him. Around the design is a vine-wreath with bunches of grapes. On the extension is a winged boy. The handle is decorated with animal heads. The names are engraved alongside the circumference of the mirror, adjacent to each figure.3rd-2nd century B.C., from Bolsena (Italy)© The Trustees of the British Museum, London -- source link
