Just long enough to make some money, put it on his resume, and use the prestige to jump to a better position somewhere else. Maybe in New York City.Katherine had always wanted to live in New York. But for the next year and a half she’d have to settle for the ‘burbs. At the very least, she reminded herself, it gave her time to prep for the LSAT. After six months of prepping for the LSAT, Katie knew one thing for certain — the LSAT was boring. And tough. And just a waste of time. Yoga classes, on the other hand, were fun. And so were the girls at the salon. And so was living in an apartment complex with a big, resort-style pool. Besides, her husband seemed to be loving his new job. And Katie was the beneficiary of those positive vibes every night – and sometimes in the morning, too!The 18 months were finally — finally! — over and Kitty was relieved to finally be able to move out of their apartment. And into a brand new house!Giggles!The place was huge, with its own pool and huge yard and right next to the country club. And, of course, a nursery attached to the master bedroom.
