She’s so gentle and quiet that you’d never expect her to get wound up in murder and mayhem. But she always walks into things that are grim and nasty, calmly assesses it and relates it to what she knows, and then solves the whole thing. Love her and her stories so much, they’re definitely worth a read. And if you want to watch, the lovely Joan Hickson adaptions are the best, in my opinion. -- source link
