Her wrinkled lips pressed into an even thinner line.“Some of you might be embarrassed, which is understandable, depending on your upbringings. But I will remind you that some of the most famous works of art in history detailed the human body. Venus de Milo. Michelangelo’s David. The Creation of Adam. The Birth of Venus. These are all pieces that have celebrated the human form.”One artist nudged another and gestured to an invisible and large set of breasts. Professor Hargrove cleared her throat and stared directly at them.“However, if anyone here decides to behave inappropriately, I will have them removed from the room and you will be failed for not only this session, but the upcoming mid-term.”Whatever merriment or humor there was to be found in the situation was quickly snuffed out by the threat. The two artists who had been laughing moments ago now hung their heads in embarrassment, eager to be out of the professor’s line of sight. Professor Hargrove smiled once more.“We will be doing several separate poses over the course of today, so the sketches you prepare do not need to be especially detailed. This is more about form and light.”She stepped down from the platform and directed her attention to the other side of the room.“Ready whenever you are, Damien.”Two girls leaned in to one another and whispered, their eyes never leaving the bathrobed figure crossing the space and stepping up onto the stage. I had to clench my jaw to keep it from dropping. Even in a robe that covered most of his body, Damien was stunning. I could see the vague outlines of muscle in the flowing satin. My heart began beating faster and climbing up my throat.
