I was seeing a young lady and we were at a local carnival. As we came to the end of the carnival grounds, where the sounds grew faint and the lights seemed dim, we happened across one of these booths. It seemed so forced and out of place, but that didn’t deter us one bit. We looked at each other and hurried over to it like we were trying to beat a crowd of people who were also clamoring to get in it….but it was just us.The light above the curtained-entrance flickered and danced on and off. I inserted the money while I watched her prance her way pass the formerly red curtain, now just a tattered remnant of its former glory. I made my way in and found her laughing hysterically, trying to figure out the seat, spinning it feverishly, like she was one of those plate jugglers from the circus.I smiled and grabbed her by her waist. I pushed her back and took a seat on the stool. “See? Just the right height for me. Now hurry.”I slid her between my legs when the first flash went off. My thighs pressed against the sides of her waist as the second bulb flashed. We starred into each others eyes. The smell of the film filled the booth as the third bulb popped. Our lips met and pressed softly, but with a welcoming force like crashing waves against helpless rocks. The fourth bulb sounded and I felt her hand running behind my neck as my hand wrapped around her waist. I lifted her up into my lap so her legs wrapped around my waist and the stool begin to slowly turn as we continued to kiss and hear the final flash go off. We slowly pulled away from each other and said nothing. We just looked at each other and breathed deeply. After a few minutes we went out, anxious to see what the booth had captured. And then? Nothing. After 10 minutes we realized that it must be broken or out of film. I could see the look of disappointment run across her face. I grabbed her by the hand and looked at her.“I think we should go in and try one more time.” She smiled and agreed. -- source link
