He’s happy for her. He deliberately sets it up to get that reaction for her, the little grin before he says how much, the huge grin when she jumps up. He cares. He’s happy for her.That is DEFINITELY not a sociopathic reaction.In episode one Sherlock fixed John.In episode two John has fixed Sherlock.I’m having a feelThe way I see it he’s just amused by her reaction, because he expects it. ‘Silly little human’ kind of. But yeah, still not a socipath. Nah, I see warmth there. Not super deep warmth–it’s not like they’re friends, or anything (although there is a HILARIOUS fic* where they are and I love it)–but he seems genuinely pleased, as I might be when something really good happens to someone on TV.[* The fic doesn’t seem to be accessible anymore, but I’m in the middle of a quest to find a way to finish reading it/share it with y'all.
