I hate and love the writers for including this because this is exactly what it’s like to lose someone you love. You could sit there forever holding them, waiting for them to open their eyes or take a breath. You could sit there forever willing them to be alive again, warm again.And I think that Merlin would have done just that - he would have held Arthur forever - if the dragon hadn’t been there to convince him otherwise. -- source link
