Weekend in Del Sol ValleySo…You’re probably wondering who the hell this is and what happened to Joaquin. Well this is Milli… and yes, Joaquin and I are still talking, we’re still getting to know each other. We met during my Junior year in college (he was a Sophomore). We never dated but that’ll always be my boo. If you know, you know. He was in Windenburg last week on business and we got a chance to spend a day together. Although we Facetime regularly, I hadn’t seen him in person in a year and a half, so spending one day with him wasn’t enough. So, I booked a flight to DSV for a three day weekend (Fri-Sun), I head back to Windenburg on Monday.He has such a big heart. He is literally the funniest and most compassionate person I’ve ever met. He’s gotten me through so many tough situations throughout the years. Time just never allowed us to be in a relationship. He’s been trying to get me to come out to the studio to dance with him, so I had to come through. Especially after everything he did last week when he came to see me. Backstory: Milli and Penny met, while in college, at a “Welcome Week” house party. He was the life of the party, until she walked in. Penny was the finest girl he had seen on campus so he gave her his number. She was dating Cameron Fletcher at the time, so she didn’t text or call him. Surprisingly enough, they ran into each other during the Homecoming Week Fashion Show (Penny just so happened to be modeling in it) and at the after party. She approached him at the party and they literally danced and laughed all night (her and Cameron were officially done this time…more on that later). Unfortunately, the next semester Milli transferred to UCentral (a college in Del Sol Valley) but they managed to keep in contact off and on throughout the years. Milli calls her boothang because they never actually made anything official throughout this time but whenever they link up, it’s like time never passed.She and him both were focused on their next moves, so they never had time for a long distance relationship. But if they were in the same place at the same time, I’m pretty sure they would give it a try. She typically dates guys that are older than her but Milli is the one exception to the rule. It’s just something about him. Fun fact: He tattooed the rose on Penny’s back. It was one of the first tattoos he had ever done before taking his tattoo artistry seriously. -- source link
