From the Invocation series: Summoning of the 41 maricones in La Paz Street (2012)For this action I took 41 candles and make a prossesion in Ezequiel Montes street in Mexico City, this in memory of Los 41, an 1901 historical event, were 41 men dressed in women clothes where found in a party by the police.The idea of the action is to bring up the memory of this event that shocked the mexican society of those days and that still in the colective memory of mexicans.
