TODAY: One pattern I’ve always wanted to invest some time in chasing is the formation of supercells off of the Sierra Madre Oriental range in Mexico (orange line). This pattern has been pretty quiet so far this year, but it is oftentimes a pretty active pattern, especially in March and April. Storms are initiating there now with a huge hail threat possible. It’ll be close as to whether anything manages to cross into Texas from that activity.The green circled area could be a focus for storm development as well today in SW Texas with a large hail threat with any storms that do form this afternoon. https://ift.tt/3uHNWWY -- source link
