I rang in 2017 the only way I knew how. I put my intentions out to the universe and I spent it with Ania. I denied going out, because I wasn’t comfortable. And if it’s one thing I learned in 2016 it was to be true to myself. The thing is, I’m perfectly happy staying in by myself, eating pizza, setting my intentions and being asleep early. It ensures I wake up restful and full of wonder and hope. 365 days ago, I was unhappy. I woke up in a house that was toxic and that I was leaving. I woke up knowing I was about to divorce the man I married, the father of my child. I woke up unsure of how the year was going to go. Today, I woke up with excitement and clarity.
