I’m starting a new feature– #CollectionSaturdays! Every saturday I will share the story behind one item in my large curio cabinet collection. To start it off, one of my favorites: an antique octopus in a jar. It was clearly once a wet specimen, but has long since dessicated. I bought this in an antique store in the middle of nowhere in a stall full of other specimens in equally bad shape. I love how much character it has though! -- source link
