Water could be pour over the stele to absorb the magical potency of the stele and was then used in many magical rituals. The figure on the stele is Horus-the-Child, who as a child conquer many threats while living in the marshes of Egypt. Egyptian, Late Period, 30th dynasty, 360 - 343 BC.
