tellyouiminsane:One year ago today something really amazing happened…Taylor watched and tweeted about my Shake It Off video that I made for her!! And this seems so small but it really did change my life for the better. First of all, this was special to me because it meant that Taylor knew who I was. (THIS STILL MAKES ME SO…..ANYWAYS). To say that it made my heart all warm and fuzzy is an understatement. Around this time I was really upset because I couldn’t attend a secret session and had just lost hope of ever meeting Taylor. So the next weekend I just kinda went “screw it. I’ll just step it up and find another way to meet her”…put on my 1989 shirt, walked into Fry’s (NOT WHOLE FOODS), and just..went all out. So the fact that it all worked out is just….anyways. On another level, her tweet gave me a lot of exposure. As some of you know, I’m a pursuing actress. Exposure and getting yourself out there (with good things of course) is important when you’re just starting out! Because of this situation, 3-4 agencies wanted to meet with me, one of them being the agency I am signed with today. I still had to show my talent and do well in my interviews, but Taylor unknowingly really helped me just get seen. And it just all comes full circle. If I hadn’t made the video, would I have as much exposure? Would Taylor know who I am? Would she have found me for Swiftmas? Would I have met her in Detroit? Maybe. I don’t know. But @taylorswift I’m just so thankful for everything you have done for me in the past year. It’s insane and I don’t know how I got so lucky. I love you forever. It wasn’t Whole Foods -- source link
