theappleppielifestyle:leia-organa:“I know Michael Sheen is a hundred percent sure that Aziraphale falls in love with Crowley, and that moment occurs when the bomb drops on the church.” (Douglas Mackinnon)#good omens#by this point crowley has been hanging around for six thousand years making romantic gestures in the hopes that aziraphale would catch on#at first they were increasingly frantic; big dramatic things (or what he thought was big and dramatic#which aziraphale inevitably never noticed)#then as a force of habit (once you spend several centuries trying to#communicate to your avowed immortal enemy that you harbor certain tender feelings for him it’s a far habit to break)#then because even if aziraphale doesn’t feel the same and will absolutely never realize what it is that crowley’s trying to say#with a millennia’s worth of little favors and late-night conversations and habits built up around him#crowley has a horrible suspicion that he wants to say it all the same#……..not that he’d ever EVER admit it since a demon developing a habit of unselfish expression of love without expectation of return was#well probably something hell frowned on#(just on principle)#and then on the flip side: aziraphale thinking that there is absolutely nothing unusual or remarkable about crowley’s behavior#so he just went and fell in love with crowley out of the blue LIKE AN ASSHOLE#and he is going to RUIN EVERYTHING if he says anything about it#(the whole Arrangement!!! their dinners!!! st. james park!!! everything!!!)#cue several decades of aziraphale going “okay be NORMAL az just be normal what do I do with my hands normally???”#“am I staring too much? how much do I usually stare at crowley? did I always have trouble leaning in too close when he talked?#I feel like I’m staring too much and oh god what did I do with my hands???”#and then the apocalypse happens#which is equally unfortunate (via notbecauseofvictories) -- source link
