asleepylioness: Dear Lioness, I have two stories for you today. The first is of a good samaritan act I did last Saturday at work. A elderly woman tripped outside my work and fell onto the paper bag filled with two bottles of just purchased wine. She cut her hand deeply, her nose, her cheek and her eyebrow. Red wine was everywhere as well as blood and glass. I brought her into the store after she said “I’m okay I think”; she was not. I spoke with her, making sure she was coherent as I cleaned her wounds and bandaged her hands. I cleaned the blood and wine from her snowy white hair and joked that she now looked hip and cool with coloured streaks. She profusely thanked me over and over, but I said it was no problem and I’m glad nothing worse had happened. As a child I was always accident prone and someone was always there to clean my wounds. As a mother, I do the same and as a caring person to a stranger, I did the same. My second story is with this shirt. I met someone over a year and a half ago. We started off as friends, but that changed when he kissed me. It has always been an up and down tumultuous ‘friendship/relationship’, but i know he truly cares for me and I am thankful for that. He says he is not good a gift giving, but he knows in winter I get cold, so last christmas he bought me tea, hot chocolate, a blanket and a magic bag for my neck. I am very thankful for the relationship we have, even if we both know it will always be a very special unique friendship. I’m wearing this Oiler shirt of his and showing him my heart, because on so many levels he has given me his and I have shared mine with him on many occasions . To him, I say thank you love. I am very grateful. xxx MPA My sweet MPA - as to your first story, you are a wonderful wonderful woman and i’m so glad i get to call you my friend. My favorite part was about how cool she probably looked with the wine coloured streaks in her hair. Beautiful recovery :). As to this nebulus friend - i hope he knows what a remarkable woman you are. Thank you for this gorgeous photo. You look sexy in socks! xoxo -- source link
