life-on-the-run: “just run how you feel” i told myself this morning. after a 5 hour hike yesterday, i wasn’t sure how today’s steady state run was going to go. the idea of a steady state is to start at a comfortable pace and then work down to around 7 minute pace. this was also my longest steady state so far this summer training cycle, and it ended up being my most comfortable one yet. went 7:33, 7:12, 6:53, 6:47, 6:40 and felt pretty smooth the entire way! nothing better than finally seeing the work start to pay off -- source link
