graffitinight:ghost-in-the-shul:roboticutie:radicalapollo:I would just be posting this same thought here either way.Antifascism is not an organization, it is not an establishment, it is not even strictly anarchism. It’s just being against fascism. That’s it. If someone asks about antifa then say “Oh antifascism? You’re talking about people against fascism? Yeah what’s your take on that?”Make them loudly agree or disagree with people who know fascism is bad. Make them be honest. No twisted words. Are you or are you not anti-fascism?Back in 2020, a Gen Z coworker turned to me and asked in That Voice, “Are you Antifa?” and I just- “I’m pro-democracy, if that’s what you mean. You know, ‘anti-fascist’.” That’s all it took for the lightbulb to go off.I know this seems like something so fucking obvious, but when the news networks keep talking about ‘Antifa’ like it’s an up-and-coming terrorist organization, people subconsciously internalize that shit. -- source link
