Depends on the panties. I wear mostly thongs so I usually put the straps over my panties. The thong and/gusset can just be pulled to the side as necessary. And it’s not like there is a need to uncover my clitty during any sexual encounter anyway. It’s just as well to keep it covered since it’s never going to be used or be useful.Plus I find that with traditional wide straps with metal clasps, panties tend to catch and hang on the clasps as you move about during the day.
