real-faker:So I’ve been getting a shitload of delightfully ironic questions such as “where can I buy this”, and “do you sell these”, about this dumb bumper sticker I made a little while ago. Which of course is hysterical and I love it, and NO I obviously won’t be selling these. But here is the design in all it’s glory, for you to do with it what you please. Now, here’s some fun stuff:I printed the bumper sticker using Buildasign.com, because it was the cheapest site I could find without a minimum order number. Coincidentally, BuildASign happens to be a small company from Texas that places a heavy emphasis on giving back to the community, volunteer-work, charity, and treating it’s employees well. It’s unlikely that anyone was exploited in the printing of this sticker, if you’d like to print one for yourself.I made the image in Gimp; a free, open-source image-editing software, as opposed to the illegal crack of Photoshop I usually use. So nothing unethical here either. The font is called NiseSegaSonic, and it’s free for personal use. That means you shouldn’t use it for commercial gain, so I wont. You can download it here. Lastly, the image of Sonic is ripped from the original Japanese box art, and I’ve modified the colors slightly. I certainly don’t have a license to use this art, and I suppose we could sit here all day trying to figure out the ethics of a google image search, but what I CAN do is tell you that the image was created by Naoto Ohshima, the original character designer of Sonic the Hedgehog. So I guess I owe a big ol’ gomen to Mr. Ohshima for using his art without permission. So uh… if none of this strikes you as unethical, feel free to fuckin’ consume, folks. -- source link
