How to Download and Install OS X Yosemite Right NowThe first GM (Golden Master) candidate of OS X Yosemite was released to developers yesterday. Golden Master versions are essentially the final version ready for public release. They do not require any developer registration, so if you’re someone who just wants it early, you just have to know where to download it and how to install it.Yosemite will install as an update, so it won’t delete anything. But if you want to be extra safe, back everything up just in case. iModZone is the largest source of Apple Betas and is very reliable, I use it very often. Download the file named ‘OS X Yosemite GM Candidate Full Installer’ from here. Both torrent and direct download links are provided. Once it’s finished downloading, double click to unzip the file, and that’ll give you the installer.When the installer is open, just follow the on-screen instructions as you would for any other update, and you’re good to go from there. **Even though this is a Golden Master Version, it still is intended for developer use only.
