In my last post, i mentioned that i sewed into the seat cushion of my power wheelchair a connection for an electro-stimulation unit (similar to a Tens Unit. I have a Zeus brand) and a vibrator. i was asked to post pictures of the cushion. Unfortunately, it turned out to be difficult to photograph as i intentionally made it very difficult to be seen so it could be used in public. The black electro pads don’t show up well on the black material. i also hid the vibrator. You can see a glimpse of the vibrator’s pink controller. Normally the seat cover is on the chair a little neater… but i was changing to a new cushion when had the opportunity to take the photo. i’ll post some pics with me in the chair on another day.The wiring for the electro-stim are pretty simple. i just have two plugs that hook into the electro-stim unit wired into the conductive rubber strips that run down the center of the cushion right where i sit. For safety, there is a thin piece of non-conductive rubber below the conductive rubber strips. i figured there was a ten percent chance of it actually working, and a twenty percent chance of setting my seat cushion on fire lol.
