Inktober #23 - JUICYjuicy adjective \ˈjü-sē \1: having much juice : succulent2: rewarding or profitable especially financially : fat3a: rich in interest : colorfulb: sensational, racyc: full of vitality : lustyMy first choice for this was a still from Juicy by Notorious B.I.G., but I figured the connection was a little tenuous. (At least I got to watch the video again, brought me back to 1994). I went through various fruits, from strawberries to watermelon, and settled back on this orange half dripping juice. I dispensed with the linework again and relied just on paintbrushes, notably the “Marbles beta” from Kyle Webster’s Concept set and the Munch blender - the highlights didn’t come out as cleanly as I would have liked. I’ll have to practice a bit more to figure out a way to make sharper lines with brushes like that. Any ideas? Suggestions welcome :) -- source link
