polyhorde:onlyyams:geo-theory:captain-snark:water-whisp:ironwoman359:sushinfood:nudityandnerdery:sorrynotsorrybi:sorrynotsorrybi:I can’t stop laughing because…like I don’t know how you can get more obvious than tweeting “I’m sure I’m bisexual,” but clearly The Sun isn’t convincedtbt to the time a bi woman explicitly said she was sure she was bisexual and “journalists” were like I mean, it’s a thing… biphobia is rampant in all walks of life sadlyThe look on Bowie’s face in that last picture, he’s just like “how thick are you? I’m bi, deal with it”This is the same tactic my 5 year old nephew uses when he doesn’t like the answer you give him. I read this tweet not even 5 minutes before seeing this post Why does it seem like if folks say they’re bisexual, there’s people out there that expect them to either:• stay single like their attraction to folks simply dissolves into the fray?• even they do happen to date/marry/have a partner, they have their bisexuality invalidated?? This makes me think of two things -1. Woman I knew in college felt obligated to alternate to maintain her Genuine Bisexual status. Literally watched her turn down a woman she was obviously into because, “I just broke up with a chick, I’ve gotta find a guy first but I’ve got her number so I’ll call her whenever it’s over.”2. I came out as bisexual in high school at a Gay Straight Alliance meeting. All I said was “my name is [x] and I’m bi” and one of my closer friends, without missing a beat, “No you’re not. You’ll pick someday, bi is just a phase until you’re ready to commit.” ……..he was no longer my friend after that. -- source link
