leepacey:leepacey:Bellamy Blake + character development#here’s the thing that makes this actual development #as opposed to the woobification that so many other shows love to do to their ‘bad boy’ characters #he’s actually making different choices #he’s actually admitted to being wrong #and doing wrong #and he’s changing his behvaiours so as not to commit those same mistakes #often shows like to use sad backstories to excuse a character’s shitty behaviour #but that’s not the case here #there was no excuse for the mistakes Bellamy made #that’s why he’s working so hard to fix them #on this show he’s allowed to have been wrong and that’s powerful#all i ever wanted was a morally grey moc who’s introduced as the shittiest person but has the most incredible character development #the backstory kills me every single time -- source link
