Been re-listening to the fantastic audio versions of Joe Abercrombie’s The First Law series while I work in my studio. Took a break to do a quick drawing of the entertainingly vicious, Ferro Maljinn. If you’ve never given it a read (or listen), give it a shot! It’s a slow burn up to a point, but over the course of the three main books the characters and the world they operate in become so rich with texture and humanity. Loads or surprises and rewards!
