How many would have straightened me out, andkept me straightened out? Oh, I wouldhave hated it – said some awful things (right at first, until I got my buttblistered for it) – but it would have worked, or worked a lot better than beingyelled at.Or, seen from the other perspective - howoften, in their absence, did I deserve one? (at least one?) Probably notdaily, I hope, at least most of the time, though I suspect there were some longunbroken stretches… and even being charitable, several times a week – everyweek.Does it really matter, how many hundreds of spankings I’m still behind? -- source link
