One of the only times I worked with latex was for Catwoman. I bought the latex suit but made my own cat ear cowl with matching latex, gluing the seams together with contact cement. I love the look but am not a huge fan of wearing latex for several hours at a con. Still, I think I would have gotten into latex garments more if it wasn’t for the increased quality in pvc fabric and metallic stretch fabric. And the ultrapreme. Maybe it’s because I come from a sewing background but I always felt more secure in a sewn outfit. Or maybe the one unfortunate wardrobe malfunction I had in latex at a (thankfully private) photoshoot scarred me a bit lol. There is no denying that I felt absolutely awesome that first day I wore Catwoman though! I think you can see it in these photos captured by Kevin Green. I loved cosplaying her and eventually puzzled together the Arkham City costume which is quite reminiscent in silhouette to this latex one. And I’m totally open to going back to latex if a costume inspires me to. ☺️..........#catwoman #catwomancosplay #dccomicscosplay #selinakyle https://www.instagram.com/p/CC3lNA1HbeS/?igshid=1a86o8sc3rgon -- source link
