More common would have been a firing rate of three shots a minute by a well trained regiment. Also, in 1791 they used flintlock muskets, this infographic clearly shows a percussionlock musket, technology not common until the 1830’s. Furthermore the musket has a rear sight, not typically adopted until the advent of the rifled musket in the 1850’s. More likely this is an Enfield or Springfield type percussionlock rifled musket, such as that used during the American Civil War, long after the Bills of Rights was adopted.Educate yourself before you claim to know what you are talking about when it comes to muskets fool! -- source link
