fullcupbra: Before the bra became commonplace a woman would find herself having to trust her curves to a laced corset. Corsets give one a lovely shape but only at the expense of making it all but impossible to breathe. Having personally lived through just a few hours of tight-laced submission I can see why less restrictive bodices such as the above came into favor. Our lady’s bust is held in place by the lightest of lace underbands, whilst the chest is free to rise and fall. -- source link
