Hjørungdal gård, Møre og Romsdal, 1984. Now abandoned, this house, about 200 years old, was the childhood home of my paternal grandfather. The farm is still held by a member of the family, but a new house with all mod cons has been constructed. In Norway there is a tradition of maintaining abandoned old buildings, and thus many of the old farmhouses one sees standing are unused but well-maintained. -- source link
