Here’s my Nick Fury-centric mood board for the wonderful @navaan, who won one of my @marvelfans4blm​ auctions and donated to the NAACP LDF! I was very happy to find out that navaan adored Fury as much as I do and she wanted a Fury mood board. She had a few ideas, but she settled on Fury, Carol, and Maria being a little family after the events of Captain Marvel. We both imagined that Fury and Carol, with everything they get up to at SHIELD and in space, respectively, like having a place to come back to, where they can find comfort, security, and peace in between missions. Fury would keep his family in Louisiana a secret; he would want to protect the Rambeaus and Carol for their sake as well as his because they mean more to him than he’d ever admit out loud. (A few people at SHIELD know about Carol, but they don’t know the bond she and Fury have. He keeps his mouth shut about Monica when she eventually joins SHIELD even though he’s her Uncle Nick. Maria is unsurprised by all this.)Anyway, I wanted to keep the colors of this mood board warm and dark; black is obviously Fury’s signature color and golden light for intimacy and coziness. :) I love this little family so much!
