#Repost @cleowade (@get_repost)・・・@sjournee and I called The Texas Diaper Bank. They said they not only needed diapers for babies but also adult diapers for seniors and teens with disabilities. So I went on @amazon and sent a thousand adult diapers to Texas. It didn’t take long. In the process, we realized that buying diapers to send was a little confusing because we weren’t sure what sizes kids were the most in need of and what brands were best for not only the babies but also our environment (if freak natural disasters teach us anything it is that we need to take care of our planet) So we created a diaper guide with non-toxic biodegradable diapers in the sizes the Texas Diaper Bank is the most in need of. Buy a pack. Buy a bundle. And ship them to Texas. It won’t take you more than ten minutes. I have turned my website into a space for helping Houston. On it you will find our diaper guide and a handful of other organizations with links directly to their donation page (LINK IN BIO). I thought it might not only be helpful to share the places I personally am donating to but also make it really easy to donate yourself. As a girl from New Orleans who lived there through Katrina, the pain of what Texans are feeling right now is all too familiar to me. May we all stay informed and keep Houston in our hearts and on our minds. Texas will need us not just today but tomorrow and the in the many days, months and years to follow. Shout out to my angelic sister friend @4iamivy who is using creative ways to help her hometown by canceling her birthday celebration this year and instead asking her friends to donate to two organizations in Houston (both of which can be found on my site). Keep Generosity Alive. Also, I love you. -- source link
