laissezferre:McClintock’s party found a human skeleton face down on the ground, presumed to be a steward because of its clothes. Upon its person was a notebook containing several journal entries on ship life and much reminiscing. In one of the pages, there was found a drawing of an eye and a reference to a location called “Lid Bay”.
