tektah: ‘Patreon’ Sooo… I am sure I will get a lot of hate for making this post, But just hear me out. So, You may have noticed that I created a patreon, I didn’t want to make an announcement or anything like that because I wanted to see if people would actually be interested in supporting me before putting a huge announcement in everyone’s face. Since the month & a half ago of me creating said patreon I’ve received a wonderful amount of support & It truly warms my heart seeing people be so passionate and supportive of the content I produce. Seeing so many people interested in supporting me I decided it was time to do a big ‘announcement’ Type thing that most artists decide to do (and because well… I had an awesome idea for a picture to go along with this announcement & really wanted to do it :x). So, to answer the biggest question.. Am I selling out? No. Not even remotely in fact.. I am simply making a patreon to help support me in making this content, The sad truth of the matter is these pictures do not take 20 minutes to produce.. Some even taking several days to create a single one. This is something I really enjoy doing, It’s something very close to my heart & I truly love everything I do in the 3d art world. I hope that with patreon I will be able to take on less commissions & be able to do the stuff I (and hopefully you!) really want to see. More of my OC’s, More comic style posts & I may even try animation in the future. You liking / reblogging my work means SO much to me, Truly it does. So don’t feel obliged to throw cash at me, I will still continue to produce content at a fast pace throughout the future! though if patreon does work out I will be producing a lot less commission work and much more content me & you guys really want. On another note which doesn’t involve patreon.. I will be having a giveaway on tumblr Relatively soon, My first in fact! so that will be super fun. Anyway..
