Forgot to post this yesterday, but barbering has taught me to have thicker skin! Sometimes I get nervous around all the talented barbers, but I humble myself knowing they all started somewhere too. Being a female barber is always tough. It feels like we have to constantly prove ourself. When I first graduated and was looking for work barbershops would turn me down.
