Here’s the final custom in Jason’s #batmanreturns project • @toyotter Selina KyleThis figure was originally planned to be Selina from a point in time later than the end of Batman Returns, and if you swipe you can see that I was playing with a different hairstyle altogether. The body was just a kit bash from parts to go with that “Selina Returns” concept, but then I resculpted her to match the crazy hair and she landed in this wave.However, I had a devil of a time figuring out the color scheme! I first tried to base it on the black/green-grey outfit she’s wearing when she first meets Bruce, then thought maybe I’d give her some bright red to break up all the blacks and grays of this assortment (plus we know Burton loves red) but ultimately she became kind of an homage to Sandy from Grease with a splash of muted comics’ Catwoman purple.I was really happy with this sculpt and my painting does not do it justice.
