goreanmann: Nicole woke up with a groan. A moment ago she had been wrapped in a cotton cloud of comfort, deep asleep, enjoying the happiest dream. Now she was awake, whether she liked it or not. The comfort of sleep was so close yet so far away, and hazy reality of being “awake” was seeming more and more inescapable. But then she hadn’t been to the gym yesterday either so why was she so sore today? “Oh well” Nicole thought to herself. She felt sure that she would figure it out once she finished waking up. She gazed through hazy sleepy eyes down the hallway at the bathroom. Some mornings it was just really hard to shake off the sleepies and to wake up. This was definitely one of those mornings. Did she have to work today? Maybe, but she couldn’t remember what her job was. Chores or errands? Those seemed more likely but she couldn’t remember exactly what chores or errands there were to do. Was today even a weekday? Could she still be sleeping in? Everything seemed so fuzzy and out of focus. she really needed a hot cup of tea, that always helped her to wake up. As she went to brush her teeth she stopped.
