intérieur de Saint-Augustin, Paris, 2017.While it appears to be late romanesque, Saint-Augustin is a mid-19th century structure framed in cast iron and designed by the same architect who designed the old and lamented Les Halles market halls. It was constructed as an element of Hausmann’s boulevardisation on a rather oddly shaped lot in one of the poshest parts of the city. Based on an organist’s rehearsal while I was visiting, it has fine acoustics. -- source link
