I, Tonya (Craig Gillespie. 2017)Let me begin by saying, I love a good film about sport. Even better when it’s filled with drama, controversy and scheming. If anything is going to give you a new perspective on the infamous ice skating incident it’s going to be this film. It’s hard not to fall in love with Margot Robbie. Within the first 30 minutes of the film, I could see why she was nominated for the Academy Award.  This film makes you feel all kinds of things. Sympathy, excitement, hope, anger, disappointment and most importantly, it makes you feel conflicted. What really happened? Who’s accounts are true? How could she have not know? Why couldn’t they hire more competent hitmen? Thanks goodness they didn’t!!! Like any good movie, it makes you feel things. There’s some amazing cinematography that makes you feel like you are in the room. I also must give praise to Sebastian Stan, I just generally just like him but he also gave an amazing performance.
