I did eventually find a New Zealand pill millipede that wasn’t rolled up into a ball. But this one was so tiny, I couldn’t get a really good photo. It’s not much more than a centimetre long. But it has beautiful colours, lovely shiny eyes, and looks a bit like an Ohmu from Nausicaä Valley of the Wind!
