Once Upon A Time In Wonderland Appreciation WeekDay 2-Favourite EpisodeHeart of StoneAt first I wasn’t sure whether to pick Heart of Stone or Heart of the Matter, both of which easily surpassed the others as my favourites. Yes, Heart of the Matter is amazing because there is so much of our OTP and we got to see more of their past and got to better understand them both, that they both thought the other no longer cared for them, manipulated by Cora.But in the end, I realised that Heart of Stone is truly my favourite. Because it’s in this episode that we finally get to understand The Red Queen (who we know find out is Anastasia, the one Will has mentioned-though many of us had predicted thus), who is my favourite, and how she came to be the way she is. We got to see her heart underneath that cool exterior, we got to see that she still cared for Will, we got to see a well-rounded villain, who may not be so much of a villain after all…There’s a reason she captivated me the most from the beginning of this show, and this episode surely encompasses all of that. The moments of The Red Queen and Alice working together were also beautiful, and I knew then that I couldn’t wait to see more of them together.This is the episode that really set up where everyone would eventually end up. -- source link
