This is the man considered to be the founder of the Assyrian Empire. His name (which I still can’t figure out how to pronounce) is Tiglath-Pileser III. Under him, Damascus and Israel were taken and make vassal states. He crowned himself king of Babylon in 734 BCE, so he is also considered one of the great Babylonian kings.
