The intention in art is not meant for entrainment, to sedate you and take you away from your life. Its purpose is to make you think, it should serve as an active role in the artist and viewer’s experience exposing ideas that society has trained us to reject or been so ridiculed even censored that they’re labelled taboo. Art ought to divert us away from retroistic thinking thereby allowing space for a more objective, open-minded curiosity to form and interpret reality through, a visionary articulation of things that sometimes can only be felt. My focus is to explore the reality surrounding us and within myself. Through Katharsis the truth will present itself by meditation and artistic vision. Ever since I was a child I have searched for the truth in life and after years of research I came to a realization that we have been lied to on every level imaginable. The truth is beyond any standard explanation given and like art truth can be subjective.
