For two days he had been itching to leave, yet once back on his feet, he hadn’t gotten more than a few dozen paces before being stopped short the moment they stepped onto the road again.Which way would Xue Yang have gone? Back toward Yi City and the past? Or onward, unleashed upon the rest of the world?He realized he couldn’t even begin to guess. As with all the man’s incomprehensible motivations. He knew Zichen wouldn’t physically force him to sit back down and rest more if he felt he was pushing himself too hard - at least he was fairly sure he wouldn’t - but he would no doubt demand they stop more often to compensate.Take action by letting things take their course, he reminded himself. The more he hurried, the longer it would take to get where he was going. He could be patient.
