thegunwhisperer:peashooter85:An ornate onyx chalice recently discovered at the Basilica of St. Isodore in Leon, Spain. Dated to between 100 BC and 200 AD, a couple of Spanish historians believe that it is none other than the exalted Holy Grail. The chalice joins another 200 cups, dishes, chalices, mugs, and other vessels in Europe which are claimed to be the authentic Holy Grail.I honestly don’t think that Jesus would have used or bought such an ornate thing because of how humble he was and I think he would have a simple cup of similar shape, peashooter85 what’s your take on this?Jesus was a carpenter who hung out with a bunch of fisherman, he was your regular blue collar Joe. Later he made a career in the non-profit industry. So he was by no means a man with a lot of expendable income, thus it would be logical to assume his chalice would be simple and plain, made of wood, clay, stone, or perhaps Roman glass which was cheap and affordable. Makes sense. I too do not have much money, and if I were to be deified, you could probably easily guess which would be the Holy Cup of Peashooter. -- source link
