mioree: Ok so, I’m unsure if anyone is like me on this but i felt like this puts things into perspective. I did a 10min correction cos, looking at this old piece, i got frustrated cos its not what I remembered i had painted i felt cheated by the gap between reality and my perception at the time. This is what it looked like to me when I originally finished it. If you have any of your own examples of what you thought you painted vs what you painted at the time tag me, I’d love to see. EDIT: 10-20min. Didnt time it & i feel its less than 20 but who knows when you draw and lose sense of time. That being said it was still fast as i knew exactly how “I remembered” it looking and knew what to correct. Knowing where you are going with it is key to speed. -- source link
