always-sunny-in-philadelphia:Charlie Day Fun Fact:You know the episode where Charlie Kelly runs into the Waitress on the beach at the Jersey Shore, and they play with seashells together…?Well, in real life, Charlie Day and Mary Elizabeth Ellis are married of course, but do you know how he proposed to her?Apparently they actually really do like playing with seashells in real life, and they go to the beach to collect them whenever possible.So the way Charlie proposed was to look for a really pretty seashell and hide the ring in it. :-)She said yes, and they were married, and by the time this episode was filmed… well, if you watch this episode and pay attention the Waitress and all that… it was filmed when Mary Elizabeth Ellis was pregnant with their baby!!!Sooooooo… although Charlie Kelly would probably be a horrible boyfriend to the Waitress and I don’t ship them at all, I think that IRL they are the cutest couple ever. -- source link
